The Spa at The Setai
There are a million reasons to go to The Setai, Miami Beach, and The Spa at The Setai is one of them. In addition to its element of indulgence, this Miami spa is most known for incorporating treatments and products from THÉMAÉ, a Parisian company, inspired by four types of teas: soothing red or rooibos, regenerating white, antioxidant-rich green and stimulating black teas. Go here and pair your ocean- and pool-view rooms with a special Asian Fusion Massage for Two. That’s right! Unique to the Miami Spa menu this year, at The Setai, you can get a 60-minute couples massage at the Miami Spa Month price and turn it into a couple’s dream come true. The couple’s version is priced at $218 per duo and includes a complimentary 30ml Shimmering Dry Oil ($34 value) for each person at the end of the massage, and if there’s availability, free pool and beach access. Key Biscayne is undeniably Miami’s most relaxed island, so when you put a Ritz-Carlton resort and spa in the middle of it, you can only imagine it’s a dream come true. Tied to history, treatments at The Ritz-Carlton Spa, Key Biscayne are inspired by the native Tequesta Indians, famed explorers and coconut plantations that once covered Florida. Go early and take advantage of the 25,000-square-foot spa’s steam room, sauna, whirlpools, relaxation lounges and oceanfront fitness center, and get the 50-minute Summer Facial for just $109. Newport Beachside Resort and Spa
One of the best values for Miami spa month is at the Aveda Spa and Salon at the Newport Beachside Resort and Spa in Sunny Isles Beach. For $109 you get an 80 minute Stress Fix massage (ask for Crystal, she’s amazing), use of the steam, a bellini or glass of champagne, and — get this, a tiki hut on the beach for the day. Bottom line, the price of a spa treatment can be a daycation. Other treatments include a couples indulgence (50 minutes) for $139 and the Elemental Nature Package massage and facial (100 minutes) for $139. Don’t expect fancy, but it’s spacious, friendly, and you’ll get a very good massage (I went twice). Newport Beachside Resort and Spa, 16701 Collins Avenue, Sunny Isles. Parking is $12 with validation.
