They say clothes make the man – but then there are those clothes that exemplify an exceptionally chic lifestyle. There’s no fashion brand in the world that does this better than Italian ultra–luxury fashion icon Domenico Vacca. Known for its super high-quality fabrics and well-cut designs, Domenico Vacca rules the roost when it comes to luxury men’s (and women’s) clothing.  Just ask Best Life Magazine, which named Domenico Vacca ties as the best in the world.

Luckily for us, there is a small Domenico Vacca boutique tucked inside the Setai Hotel on South Beach.

All of Domenico Vacca’s clothes are handmade in Italy by master craftsmen and the amazing details show it.  For example, their blazers and suits all have hand-stitched shoulder seams, hand-sewn double-track stitching around the armholes and on the lapels, Neapolitan hand sewn sleeves for a more natural fit, hand sewn button holes, pockets and vent fold, concave-shaped horn buttons, etc.  Although quite expensive (a ready-to-wear blazer runs $3,600 for example, and they also can do bespoke clothes), the collection is more on the classic side (i.e. not trendy), so the clothes will last for years.

Many celebrities have already caught Domenico Vacca fever (as have I – ah–choo!), including Daniel-Day Lewis, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Denzel Washington, Harrison Ford, Al Pacino, Antonio Banderas and many others.

Known for his bold colors and stylish designs, Domenico Vacca seems a perfect fit for Miami style mavens.

I have asked Aldo Leone, the general manager of the Miami Domenico Vacca store to show our readers how Domenico Vacca would interpret the classic Miami look for spring/summer.

The photos above tell each piece ofthe exclusive story.

The rest of the story, and your exceptionally chic lifestyle, is up to you.
