Category: Things to Do

April brings some of the most diverse things to do in Miami this year as you’ll read including the Miami Art Zine this weekend! Enjoy!
Two of the top fashion events of the year in Miami, a Hollywood Awards Watch evening experience, all matter of antiques,  and the Garcia brothers with their Cuban fusion music concert, all in Things to Do in Miami in  March, 2026.
If the Rembrandt exhibit at the Norton Museum is the one to top this year in the Old Masters category, then the Dolce&Gabbana “From the Heart to the Hands” exhibit at the ICA Museum is the one in its niche. A group of some of my sophisticated friends and I went to see it and we all agreed it is nothing short of extraordinary. Though Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana are world famous fashion designers, the exhibit’s appeal is much more than pure fashion. It’s like a voyage back to the time of Louis XIV and the Hapsburgs, and the exquisite mastery of craftsmanship which one would think doesn’t exist today. And then it presents a view of Rome’s layered history, both sacred and spectacular, in no fewer than 3 floors, 300 pieces and themed rooms with video and art installations as backdrops.
February being the peak month of the peak season means top things to do in all our favorite areas -- food, culture and entertainment. Boating too! Check them out!
This winter season 2026 is the best that I can remember in recent years for things to do in Palm Beach. From a Dolce and Gabbana exhibit at ICA and the jazz-age glamour of Miami’s Art Deco Weekend with a new culinary addition, to diving into Robert Rauschenberg’s experimental world, or enjoying an intimate, soulful dinner at Maison Ostrow and more, this month offers an exciting  choice of things to do in Miami in January.
Everything from  tastings and celebrity chef demonstrations to a BBQ on the beach,  Wok n' Roll, Grand Tasting, Beachside brunch,  and the free family friendly picnic in the park with entertainment and artisan vendors, interactive food and wine experiences, a dining series  and more are in store at the seventh annual  Visit Lauderdale Food & Wine Festival (VLFWF)  January 19 – 25, 2026, in partnership with Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. The Fort Lauderdale food and wine festival unites Michelin-recognized restaurants, James Beard-nominated talent, and national culinary stars for a weeklong culinary experience.
