It’s time to give thanks! And lucky for South Florida diners, there are plenty of restaurants hosting Thanksgiving dinner in Miami to commemorate the occasion. And if you’re still looking for more options, click here for last year’s posts in two parts.
Planta South Beach
While Thanksgiving may be all about the turkey for some, it doesn’t have to be. At Planta South Beach, the 100% plant-based eatery in South of Fifth, diners can enjoy a carryout menu of plant-based alternatives to everyone’s favorite Thanksgiving classics! Think: “Meatloaf,” Candied Sweet Potatoes with toasted marshmallow fluff, Mac and Cheese, Sourdough Stuffing with black bean “sausage” and Peach Cobbler Streusel. The menu is priced at $35 per person, and includes the full Thanksgiving meal.
Planta South Beach is located at 850 Commerce Street. Orders for the carryout menu can be placed until Monday, November 25th, at 5 p.m. Orders will be available for pickup on Wednesday, November 27th, from Noon to 9 p.m., and on Thursday, November 28th (Thanksgiving Day), from 10 a.m. to Noon.
El Vez
It’s 2019—and that means you can celebrate Thanksgiving however you want to. Take Stephen Starr’s El Vez, for example, which will host a Mexican-themed Thanksgiving with Spice Rubbed Turkey, Green Chorizo and Squash Blossom Stuffing, Mashed Potatoes, Green Bean Casserole and more. All dishes are priced a la carte.
El Vez is located inside the W Fort Lauderdale, at 401 N Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard. Hotel valet is available.
Il Mulino New York
Don’t love Mexican? Take your tastebuds on a trip to Italy instead. At the dazzling Il Mulino New York, which sits inside Sunny Isles’ Acqualina Resort & Spa on the Beach, indulge in a Thanksgiving dinner with both an American and Italian flair. If you want the traditional meal, feast on a $60 prix-fixe menu of Organic Roasted Turkey, Fresh Cranberry Sauce, Walnut and Sausage Stuffing, Sautéed Green Beans with Roasted Almonds and Mashed Potatoes. For a taste of “la dolce vita,” order from the regular a la carte menu, where every dish is inspired by the Abruzzo region of Italy. No matter where you are in the world, Thanksgiving practically requires dessert, so get the creamy Pumpkin Cheesecake. (It won’t disappoint.)
Il Mulino New York is located at 17875 Collins Avenue. The Thanksgiving menu will be available from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. Hotel valet is available.
Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille
In honor of the fall holiday, Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille will offer both its full dinner menu and a special Thanksgiving menu! For just $45 per adult, the special menu includes: your choice of Butternut Squash Soup or Honey Crisp Apple Salad, Roast Turkey Breast with pan gravy and mashed potatoes, Green Bean Almondine, Sausage & Sage Cornbread Stuffing and Cranberry Relish. Just for the holiday, Pumpkin-Spiced Cheesecake is priced at $8 per slice, and children can get just an entrée plate and sides for $15.
Perry’s Steakhouse & Grille is located at 4251 Salzedo Street. The Thanksgiving menu will be available from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Street parking and parking garages are nearby.
The Gates Hotel South Beach
Do Thanksgiving on Miami Beach at The Gates Hotel, which has a day-long schedule of games for hotel guests that the whole family can enjoy. Stay the night, and play games like Pin the Feather on the Turkey, Pumpkin Toss, Thanksgiving Charades, Turkey Bowling (with bowling pins decorated as turkeys) and Thanksgiving Word Scramble. The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade will be playing at the lobby bar, and Pecan or Pumpkin Pie, both served with Hot Apple Cider, will be available for purchase.

Lightkeepers
Spend Thanksgiving 2019 at Lightkeepers, the Florida-inspired restaurant at The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne, Miami, where you can enjoy a lavish feast—for both brunch and dinner—with bottomless Prosecco, mimosas and Bloody Marys. Start the day with perfect Atlantic Ocean views and a bevy of brunch food stations. Think: made-to-order omelets, Sweet Corn-Chorizo Arepa Benedict, Cranberry-Walnut Sweet Potato Hash, Cinnamon French Toast, cured meats, different kinds of bread and cheese, sweets and so much more. Then, when the dinner buffet is unveiled, it will have options like Braised Short Rib, Smoked Squab, Roasted Turkey, Lamb Leg, handmade pastas, a raw bar and even an “Oops! We Burnt the Turkey” station with Chinese food. If you’re there with little ones, take them to the Kids Corner, where they’ll find child-friendly foods just for them.
Lightkeepers is located at 455 Grand Bay Drive. The brunch buffet will be available from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m, and the dinner buffet will be available from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. The buffet is priced at $145 per adult and $49 per child (ages 5 through 12). In addition to the full a la carte menu, guests can opt for a special Thanksgiving plate with all of the holiday fixings: like Slow-Roasted Turkey with Brioche Stuffing, French Green Beans with Marcona Almonds and Cranberry-Pear Chutney, and an order of Sam’s Mashed Potatoes for the table.
