If you like pasta at all, you won’t want to miss what I’m calling Pastamania. It’s an all out celebration of National Pasta Month now to October 28 by La Centrale Miami in the Brickell City Centre. We’re talking pasta happy hours, discount on all dried pasta and sauces, tasting menu, workshops and the ultimate pasta party. And then there’s the yurt, yes the yurt for a unique private pre-season or holiday party until January 6.

Ultimate pasta party: Not sure which pasta you love most? Discover your favorite at the Pasta Festival on Sunday 28 October from 1 to 6 p.m. With five stations across the MERCATO — plus a beverage cart with wine and Negroni! — diners can compare the taste, texture, and story of the different shapes of fresh and dry pasta. Tickets will be available at the Guest Relations desk by PIZZA E PASTA entrance during the event (not in advance). Pick up one ticket for $5 and six for $26. One ticket gets you a taste of pasta or wine; two tickets will get you a Negroni.
Your custom party to remember. Starting November 6 to January 6, you can cozy-up and dine in a festive yurt, a private tent for 2 to 12 persons. Get a jump on the holidays with La Centrale’s shareable chai bourbon, mulled rosé and spiced cider.
Then it’s onto an Italian fonduta with Italian cured meat and cheeses, breads and crudité. Top everything off with the classic Italian panettone and chocolate fonduta, all from the comfort of your very own yurt. Experience is 95.00 per person (55.00 per child 12 and under).
