Looking for a new way to say “that’s amore!” this year? We’ve got it! Check out our list of the top ways to celebrate Valentine’s Day Miami 2018 and Fort Lauderdale too —from picnics on the beach to a star-studded concert and more, there’s something for couples, singles and even families. And if you’ll be celebrating at home, check out the two recipes for Valentine themed cocktails.

Feast in you very own cabana… under the stars.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day the “Florida” way: on the beach! At B Ocean Resort, in Fort Lauderdale, you could be one of eight lucky couples to enjoy a romantic dinner, in a Salty Siren Beachfront Cabana, under the stars. Priced at $500 per couple, this deal will include one private beachfront cabana, a four-course, prix-fixe dinner, one bottle of champagne, a private butler, and for the crème de la crème on your stunning South Florida night, a live violinist. B Ocean Resort is located at 1140 Seabreeze Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316. Hotel Valet is available.

Atlantic Hotel & Spa on Fort Lauderdale Beach

Indulge in a gourmet picnic on the beach.

Treat your special someone to a romantic day “a la ol’ Paree” this Valentine’s Day, as you celebrate your love with a picnic feast on the sand. At Atlantic Hotel & Spa, a four-diamond hotel on beautiful Fort Lauderdale Beach, this “Gourmet Picnic Dinner on the Beach” is open to the public for just $120 per couple! Available any day during Valentine’s Day week, between February 11th and February 18th, lovers can take in the beauty of our South Florida shores while indulging in fare from the hotel restaurant, Coastal. The picnic will include: grilled jumbo shrimp with cocktail sauce, a Brie wheel and crackers, bocconcini and tomato salad, gorgonzola-crusted beef tenderloin on ciabatta, smoked salmon herb cream cheese on pumpernickel, truffle potato salad, chocolate-dipped strawberries and gourmet cookies. To wash it all down, share a bottle of San Pellegrino and a bottle of Pinot Grigio or Chianti; and to set the mood, your basket will include a tablecloth blanket, utensils, glasses and a lantern for dining under the stars. Atlantic Hotel & Spa is located at 601 N. Fort Lauderdale Beach Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33304. All reservations must be made before 2 p.m., and a refundable $50 basket deposit is required at the time of reservation. Hotel valet is available.

Boulud Sud Miami

Get a taste of the Mediterranean at the new Boulud Sud Miami.

We were all sad when db Bistro Moderne Miami, one of our favorite French restaurants in Miami, closed its doors in September 2017—but lucky for us, the mastermind chef behind it, Daniel Boulud, didn’t keep us waiting long for another one of his fabulous concepts! Coming to us from New York’s Upper West Side, this Mediterranean stunner promises a feast for the ages; one influenced by the flavors of Côte d’Azur Spain, Italy, Greece, Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon and Turkey. For just $85 per person, treat your S.O. to a four-course Valentine’s Day dinner by Executive Chef Clark Bowen, with plates like burratina with black truffle, saffron acquarello risotto, catalan filet mignon, chicken tagine and more. For an extra-sweet experience, end your meal on a happy note with Pastry Chef Saeko Nemoto’s signature grapefruit givré dessert, and opt for the $50-per-person wine pairing by Boulud Sud Sommelier (and our favorite wine guru) Haunah Klein. Boulud Sud is located inside the JW Marriott Marquis, at 255 Biscayne Boulevard Way, Miami, FL 33131. Hotel valet is available for $10 with restaurant validation.

To really make it a cozy affair, guests are welcome to bring blankets, lawn chairs and small picnic baskets—but if you forget to pack the latter, refreshments will be available for purchase from Ms Cheezious, Serendip-a-tea, Chill-N Ice Cream, CrêpeMaker and Joanna’s Marketplace.
