The over 200 year old House of Hennessy has come out with a cognac, Hennessy 8, in a limited edition Baccarat carafe that will be hard to top at $39,000.
Mexican high fashion we regrettably are exposed to very little. Yet, along with the much praised evolution of the “new” Mexican cuisine and its very talented exponents, the country’s fashion scene is now coming into its own. I’ve been exposed to it through my client, Velas Resorts, that for the past few years has featured runway shows and popup boutiques of two of the leading fashion designers, Alejandro Carlin and Benito Santos. Also worth of FF status is the Champagne en Rose cocktail.

Even if you don't like pretzels, you have to admit this pretzel dress is pretty darn fabulous, made of 10 pounds of the salty treat.
Piaget has a new Limelight series of unique, playful cocktail rings in 18K gold literally inspired by cocktails. Semi-precious stones have been cut to resemble fruits, leaves, even ice cubes and other "ingredients" and have names like Mojito, Lime Tonic, Cosmopolitan, and Lemon Fizz (what happened to The Martini?).
Foodie crime had to come, and come it did as in a stolen recipe. What for? The latest craze in San Francisco, described by a New York Times reporter as a "food-crazy city where every consumer is a Yelp critic". The recipe was for the cruffin, a cross between a muffin and a croissant
