Looking for a birthday present or hostess gift? Here are six of my favorite gift shops in Miami with well curated selections at varied price points. Museum gift shops too.
It’s seldom I go to a store and want to buy just about everything. A notable exception is The Bazaar Project in its expanded new home in Coconut Grove. The owner, sourcer and person of exquisite taste is Yeliz Tetiz, who travels the world discovering contemporary treasures in home décor, men and women’s fashion, and jewelry. It’s best described as a Concept Store. Sharing the space with the retail offerings is an inviting café with tropical flair that opens onto the street. Though just open for two months, it’s already a hot ticket. Expect Yeliz’s stylish touches, even in the café. A coffee is not just a coffee. It’s served on a silver tray with a piece of Turkish delight candy. Order a glass of wine or cocktail and it comes with a dish of nibbles.
