Miami is known for its flashy style, and there is nothing flashier than having dinner in front of a rare Lamborghini or vintage Rolls Royce, with music pumping in from the DJ, housed in a Ford tractor-trailer. If this gets you excited, the launch of Miami Supercar Rooms bar and restaurant , the nation’s first auto art gallery and gourmet dining experience, which opened recently in Wynwood, is for you.

Founded by Elo (like Cher, with just one name), a British mogul who founded the London Motor Museum, he is bringing a bit of South Beach-style nightlife and glamour to the already hip Wynwood scene.

Within the Auto Art Gallery, you will be able to experience a never-before-seen collection of extremely rare models such as the 1955 SL 300 Mercedes Gullwing; 1929 Rolls Royce Bootch; 1958 450 S Maserati vintage racing car; 1961 196 SP Ferrari vintage racing car and the 2007 Shelby Supercar Ultimate Aero TT: heralded as the fastest production car in the world.

Also featured are one-of-a-kind vehicles including a 1937 derivative of the only Bugati Atlantic, known as the “Bugnaughty” built by the famed Terry Cook of Delahaye ÙSA. Among many other rare gems from the automotive world, Miami Supercar Rooms also presents a 1953 Lamborghini tractor – the only one in America and one of only three remaining in the world.

The 13,000 square foot venue  revolves around the Auto Art Gallery – housing six of the most desirable cars in the world. You can choose to have a drink in the bar and look into the glass enclosed museum-like gallery or  if you’re flush with cash, opt for  the Miami Supercar Dining Experience. For $3000  you can dine in one of six aluminum “Pods.” Each Pod, which sits in front of its own Supercar, accommodates up to six people .  The cost is for the evening which includes all food and beverages.

The menu uses locally grown ingredients where possible, and in addition to a selection of house made specialties, you will also have the option to choose from a menu provided by a featured South Florida restaurant for that month, brought-in to collaborate with Miami Supercar Rooms.

So Vroom over to Miami Supercar Rooms.  Just don’t drink and drive.
