Best Miami Restaurant Delivery & Takeout

Indian food from Zaika served with candelight and of course, some wine

Many restaurants around town are responding to the dine-in restrictions by offering takeout and delivery, either through services like Uber Eats, Grub Hub, Postmates and others, or by using their own employees. Here’s a list of Karen’s favorites that are offering Miami restaurant delivery and takeout (she has been to all of them except Boia De which is on her “To Go” list) along with important information to know before you order.

Before our meal, enjoying martinis and cheese on the balcony, we’re talking civilized!

If possible, go to the restaurant and pickup the meal curbside, practicing social distancing. The benefit of this is that you save the third party app’s service charge. It’s also much better for the restaurant, since apps can charge 30% or more to restaurants that are struggling to survive. In most cases, you can order by calling and/or online. Some restaurants are offering their complete menu and others a reduced menu, sometime with a discount. And please, TIP well.

Special shoutout for Eater Miami from whom we culled the specific details and then Karen curated the list and made additions as well. They are listed in alphabetical order.

    1. Yes, we need to support local bakers, you’re so right. And great ones like yours — Eden Bar Bakery and Cindy Lou’s Cookies (haven’t tried El Bagel yet). As for the idea about a fitness related post, you have a surprise in store next week. Stay tuned and thank you.
