Other Ideas:

The Fontainebleau’s annual poolside New Year’s Eve bash is always one of the hottest (and priciest) tickets in town. This year brings  performances by Colombian megastar J Balvin and Swedish DJ Alesso. Also, your ticket gets you access to an open bar until midnight.

Low cost options include the Wharf, a huge waterfront party with food vendors, lots of drinks and sure to be the unexpected; and a Wynwood block party at the Mana Wynwood Convention Center. Expect lots of food and drink and free admission.

Expect acrobats, performers and a private fireworks show. Choose from the pricey cabanas and VIP tickets or the $75 admission for  a night of dancing and noisemakers.
And last but not least, you can always pick up some stone crabs, fried chicken or salmon at Joe’s Stone Crab and have a feast at home or a picnic at your favorite waterfront spot.
