
The verdict is out…….Kaori by Walter Martino hosted an eye popping subscriber event last week in a setting with constantly changing digital art – from spring flowers and butterflies to framed fashion photos and chandeliers that could have been secreted from a grand hotel ballroom. Thanks to the chef, the lucky 15 subscribers witnessed firsthand how the scrumptious riceless rolls got the finishing touches before being perched on the ceramic tree trunk, also a creation of Chef Walter.

Creative culinary combos were accompanied by fine French champagne and wine while we all got to know one another. Dinner guests then moved on to what was supposed to be a four course dinner until we heard there would be a surprise fifth course.

On the menu was ceviche sampler including edible flowers, vegetable tempura served in their signature ceramic handbag, a selection of risotto, Kaori sorbetto to cleanse the palate, delectable pasta sampler (raviolis with ossobucco, lobster, gorgonzola) and chocolate mousse and macaron desserts plus wine. A great time was had by all and thank you Chef Walter and your team (for the special deal too)!

Bill and I had a most enjoyable evening at Kaori last Tuesday with you and your guests. All senses were on high alert as we made our way through dinner savoring each dish. We will definitely be dining at this little jewel again!
