You’ve done the garden tours, house tours, so how about a kitchen tour? And not just any kitchen, this Coral Gables Tour of Kitchens 2016 is back again this year, on February 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m .
The Tour of Kitchens begins with checkin from 9 a.m. at Snaidero Kitchen & Design with breakfast, coffee and mimosas while browsing the store’s showroom. Highlight of the tour is a visit to the kitchens of select private homes (and of course, peer into other fabulous rooms enroute) beginning at 10 a.m . At each stop there will be a free food sampling from a local restaurant, kitchen related items for purchase and a stunning table setting display by a local store. The event ends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Ferguson Bath, Kitchen & Lighting Gallery with prosecco and dessert samples.
Participants will get a map indicating all the stops. You can drive or take a limo (they are offering limos to guests at a discount with a bottle of champagne included via Majestic Limos ) or join bikers from Bike Walk Coral Gables. This year they’ve partnered with Uber so you can receive a free ride of up to $20 (use promo code CGCF). Tickets are $60 (if it’s not sold out you can register the day of the Tour for $70) , a benefit for the Gables Senior High School culinary program.
