If you love fashion and accessories, make sure next year you go to the spring Stitch Lab fashion popup of Latin American designers in the Miami Design District. Or, if you missed it this year, you can go to Stitch Lab’s online marketplace and find the designers, search by fashion item you’re interested in, and also find sale items. Team up the visit with lunch at Contessa (click here for my review) or COTE Miami and it’s a glorious afternoon. For those who couldn’t go, here’s a photo gallery, some of my favorites in clothing and accessories from the 43 designers who displayed and showed their creations (often serving as the model). At the end of the post are links to sites of all the designers and countries they’re from.
ABOUT STITCH LAB
Stitch Lab is a talent incubator and launching pad for Latin American designers in the U.S. founded in 2018. Its mission is to position and strengthen Latin American fashion’s presence in the international arena through creative consumer experiences, a solid network of contacts, and highly effective communication strategies. Stitch Lab thrives in working with brands that have a social, environmental, and sustainable purpose. They endorse designers who produce ethical fashion and preserve their native artisanal legacy. In 2020, Stitch Lab introduced its online marketplace as a virtual solution during the COVID-19 pandemic to offer consumers access to some of Latin America’s most treasured fashion talent.
Here’s the photo gallery of the some of the designers often wearing their creations as well as select fashionistas attending the popup:
