Heaven knows, if we ever needed a happy hour it’s now, and I’m not talking Zoom. Never fear. STK South Beach

STK  South Beach, known for its “vibe dining”, stylish décor and music with an in house DJ, offers happy hour Monday through Sunday from 3 p.m. to 6:30 p .m. STK’s Happy Hour features half price specialty cocktails like the Strawberry Cobbler, $10 Justin Cabernet and Vievité Rosé, and signature bar bites (such as the Lil’ BRG & Truffle Fries, Bone-In Filet Lollipops, and Tuna Tartare Tacos) starting at $5. Miami Beach’s 100% plant-based hotspot Planta is now offering half off all wine bottles every Tuesday during dinner service, from 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Pair the wine  with Planta’s inventive bites such as Crispy Rice – lemon mayo, truffle mushroom ($11.25), Ahi Watermelon Nigiri ($5.75), and Cauliflower Tots ($11.25). The Deck at Island Gardens just re-launched its Sparkling Happy Hour, Saturday and Sunday 4 to 6 pm.  The offerings include $10 Rose and Cocktails with $2 Oysters. There will be additional food / raw bar items and special cocktails featured weekly with live music (DJ). With its stunning views, handsome design and outdoor setting, it’s the perfect spot to enjoy the bewitching hour with a lovely glass of wine or a cocktail. Self  parking is $10.

Glass & Vine

Glass and Vine is another attractive setting, in a lush garden overlooking the park in Coconut Grove. Drink up Monday through Friday from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. with half off spirits and wine by the glass as well as $5 draft beer. 2820 McFarlane Road. Parking garage nearby.

New addition to the Gables, Cuban inspired eatery Calle 23 Miami, offers a fun and funky setting for happy hour 5 p.m. to 8 p.m Tuesday through Saturday. Choose indoor or outdoor seating for enjoying a choice of six cocktails for $7 each, glass of wine for $5 and beer at $4. Latin favorite light bites include tortilla espanola, frita Cubana, empanadas and more. Stay for the live music Friday and Saturday after 8 p.m. 230 Miracle Mile. Municipal parking lots nearby. Surely one of the better in terms of prices and variety of offerings is Shokudo Miami. We’re talking a choice of four  $5 cocktails, $5 glass of wine, $3 beer, and $10 bottle of saki. And then there’s a wide selection of $7 appetizers and sushi rolls including popcorn fish,spicy  tuna tartar,Hawaiian bbq chicken wings, jalapeno poppers and more. It’s offered daily from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.  4740 Northeast 2nd Ave. Street parking.

Sugarcane is always a popular spot for happy hour for good reason: creative offerings, variety and price. Take your pick — a choice of 9 signature cocktails, beer cocktails, and prosecco with fruit essences, all for $7. Wine by the glass is $7 or if you want to make a night of it, there are pitchers for $35.
