Hello! My husband and I are planning a trip to Nairobi during the month of November this year to attend a wedding. We are hoping to find a guide to help us do some exploring after the festivities are behind us. We would like to have some exposure to Nairobi and its surrounding areas and could even be interested in a brief safari, only for viewing. Any ideas? You helped us find guides for a recent trip to Turkey and they were fabulous! Many, many thanks! Alexis

here are tour operators who you might check out. I don’t know if they do programs to Kenya but I’ve gone on trips with them and they’re excellent. Also, there is a group of upscale travel agents and tour operators called Virtuoso that has specialists and they have a top reputation. A good friend is going there for a landmark birthday. I’m going to ask which operator he is using and will get back to you.  Hope this helps!
Wild Frontiers out of the UK (my favorite)
Cazenove & Lloyd
World Affairs Council Philadelphia
Smithsonian Journeys
National Geographic Expeditions (didn’t travel with them but great reputation)
Audley Travel (haven’t traveled with them but was impressed by the tour they mapped out for us to South Korea)
