Things to do in Miami, March ’26

Fleur de Villes at Bal Harbour Shops

Two of the top fashion events of the year in Miami, a Hollywood Awards Watch evening experience, all matter of antiques,   the Garcia brothers with their Cuban fusion music concert,  plus more, all in Things to Do in Miami in  March, 2026.

One of my favorite fashion events of the year is the bi-annual Stitch Lab fashion pop-up and annual shopping experience. The three-day experience, March 12-15 brings together more than 40 of Latin America’s leading fashion designers and independent brands in clothing, accessories and beauty/wellness. You find things here not otherwise available in Miami and admission is free. This year’s expedition places a spotlight on innovative fashion brands. There’s also a beauty lounge experience.

Some of the highlights include:

Brazilian based resortwear from Dress To  (Brazil)

  • Caribbean inspired resort wear from the designer Jenny Polanco (Dominican Republic)
  • The highly anticipated second drop of She by Ines Sheero (Miami) which will launch exclusively at Stitch Lab Miami
  • A collaboration by Fashion Icon Jenny Lopez and the sustainable Peruvian brand PAMPA with organic fabrics and timeless design (Peru)
  • Celebrity Dani Ospina (Colombia) will be debuting her newest line of activewear

This year, Toty by Sofía Vergara returns to Stitch Lab as the event’s official beauty sponsor for 2026, bringing a wellness-forward beauty element to this year’s experience. With a special focus on suncare, the brand underscores the importance of radiant, sun-protected skin–perfectly aligned with Stitch Lab’s vision for a complete, spring-summer edit. Throughout the event, Toty will be on-site offering product samples and personalized shade matching, along with exclusive 15% off discounts and gifts with purchase.

Sponsored by Moncho Moreno, Stitch Lab Miami will debut an elevated Beauty Lounge experience within the pop-up, bringing a touch of luxury haircare to this year’s experience. Throughout the event, guests will be invited to sign up–via Eventbrite as well as on-site–for complimentary hair care consultations and dry styling sessions with the Moncho Moreno team. In addition to the interactive service experience, attendees will have the opportunity to shop a curated selection of Moncho Moreno products directly at the event,

This edition features a diverse lineup of designers from Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Mexico, Nicaragua, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, as well as local designers from Miami, showcasing Latin American fashion’s vibrant talent and creativity.

Entry into Stitch Lab’s three-day fashion pop-up is complimentary and will be located on the third floor of Paradise Plaza in the Miami Design District at 151 NE 41st Street, from March 13-15, 2026. For more information about Stitch Lab, visit www.StitchLabMiami.com.

You can always count on exciting new musical groups at the Miami Beach Bandshell, 7275 Collins Avenue. One performance that caught my eye (and you’ll probably see me there) is the Garcia Brothers on March 19. This edition of the North Beach Social, the free monthly musical meet up at the Bandshell, is all about Cuban music. The Garcia Brothers, co-led by young Cuban piano wizard Andy Garcia and his drummer/vocialist brother Yandy Garcia, are fresh arrivals to our city’s musical melting pot. They have quickly made a name for themselves as part of Miami’s elite musical scene with their style of Cuban fusion featuring contemporary Latin influences. Trained at the renowned Havana conservatories, the young musicians have no trouble keeping up with legendary artists and stars – or developing a buzz for their own projects. With this night, which leads into the annual Global Cuba Fest, they are promising stellar Cuban fusion, and special guests. The night starts with a dance lesson by Salsa Z. Another fashion highlight is Bal Harbour Village ‘s annual Fleurs de Villes FLORA from now to March 8. Expect serious eye candy between the exhibits and the people watching. The 10-day showcase transforms both the Village, including Bal Harbour Shops and the lobby of The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort into a flower-filled extravaganza. The showcase displays 25 fresh floral mannequin installations, each inspired by celebrated fashion designers. These botanical sculptures are crafted by esteemed Miami-based florists who weave nature into design couture.

To complement the floral displays, Bal Harbour Village is hosting various activations throughout the exhibit. Guests can participate in a flower crown-making workshop, savor floral pastry offerings at the St. Regis Bar, enjoy an elegant afternoon tea at La Gourmandise or indulge in botanical spa treatments at the St. Regis Spa. This year, iconic brands including Rene Caovilla, Diptyque, Gianvito Rossi, Wolford, Brunello Cucinelli and Makoto will each present floral mannequins.

Look for the Original Miami Beach Antique Show March 26-30 at the Miami Beach Convention Center. Expect one-of-a-kind vintage and antique finds, estate jewelry, timepieces and accessories and even furniture and home décor.

Experience one of Hollywood’s biggest nights on the big screen  and enjoy bites and unlimited adult beverages with the 3rd annual awards watch party at Coral Gables Cinema on March 15. Add to the fun with Oscar trivia with amazing prizes! Test your movie knowledge and win fabulous prizes throughout the night. Dress to dazzle with a look inspired by your favorite film and have a chance to win a prize. Single tickets are $100 ($75 for members) or $150 for two. ($125 for members). Are you a whiskey lover or want to learn about it? Then this is for you. It’s  Miami Whisk(e)y Mash™,  an evening of tastings, live music and local bites at the Coral Gables Country Club. On Saturday, March 7, guests will have the chance to sample more than 100 expressions of whiskies from around the world, alongside handcrafted cocktails and beer selections. The experience also includes premium cigars, light bites from Miami restaurants and a lively atmosphere set to music. For more information click here.
