This Thanksgiving, celebrate with South Florida’s finest dining establishments as they serve special price-fixed menus and à la carte options for the holiday. Here is Part 1 of Miami Curated’s picks for Thanksgiving 2015 dining options in South Florida, today focusing on all around Miami — from Bal Harbour, Coral Gables and Downtown to Doral, Key Biscayne and Miami Beach. Stay tuned for Part II, Fort Lauderdale, on Monday.

1. Red, the Steakhouse

Red, the Steakhouse in South Beach, is serving more than just savory red meats this Thanksgiving. Find gourmet spins on holiday classics with special creations by Executive Chef Peter Vauthy including Sweet Potato Fondue with House Marshmallow, Apple-Sausage Stuffing, Roasted Organic Turkey with Gravy, Cranberry Orange Relish and more. Insider tip: ask the waiter for a wine pairing recommendation from their more than 500 selections. The restaurant will open for dinner service starting at 5:00pm. Thanksgiving Chef specials are offered in addition to the regular menu. Valet parking is $15.

2. BLT Prime

Be thankful for the special Thanksgiving menu at BLT Prime Miami featuring a range of autumnal options sure to please any palate. Priced at $75 for adults and $40 for children under 12, the holiday menu includes choices like celery root soup with honey crisp apples, chestnuts and sage; roasted turkey with chestnut-sausage stuffing, cranberry-grenadine sauce and rosemary gravy; and pumpkin tart with maple ice cream. Family style sides are also offered such as creamed spinach. The menu will be available from 3 pm to close. Parking is available for $5 with validation.

3. The Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne

Cioppino at the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne is serving a lavish feast of traditional favorites and other special treats for brunch and dinner on Thanksgiving. The memorable spread features a variety of cold and hot selections from a caviar bar and seafood station to holiday creations like Savory Roasted Turkey, Smoked Gouda Cauliflower Gratin, and Sausage and Green Apple Corn Bread Stuffing. Brunch seating will be offered twice at 12:30pm and 2:45pm. Dinner seating will be offered twice at 6pm and 8:30pm. The price is $145 for adults and $49 for children. Reservations required. Valet parking is $20.

4. Biltmore Hotel

The Biltmore Hotel in Coral Gables serves two types of delicious Thanksgiving Dinner from 6 to 10 pm. At the Palme d’Or Restaurant a four-course, French-style tasting menu is available for $115 per person complete with roasted turkey and fall vegetables. A six-course tasting menu is also available for $145 per person with added courses including Seared Britany Turbot. At The Biltmore’s Fontana Restaurant, guests will be able to dine on a three-course Tuscany-inspired meal prepared by Chef Galazzi for $80 per person. A sampling of the selections include deconstructed steak tartar with garlic Tuscan bread, herbs marinated slow roasted boneless organic turkey, and caramel pecan cheesecake with pumpkin ice cream. A Thanksgiving Brunch will also be available from 10:30am to 2:30pm featuring an extravagant buffet with delicacies such as caviar, smoked salmon, shellfish, carved meats, fresh omelets, and more. Self parking is available complimentary and valet parking is $10.

5. Essensia Restaurant + Lounge

Enjoy seasonal, farm-to-table Thanksgiving fare prepared by Chef Venoy Rogers at Essensia Restaurant + Lounge. The restaurant is serving an à la carte menu with starters such as pumpkin apple soup with nutmeg crème fraîche and toasted pumpkin seeds ($9). For the main dish, try one of two natural gourmet selections including free range organic turkey with sage honey glaze, wild mushroom gravy, braised fall greens, savory chicken sausage bread pudding in an apple cranberry compote ($40). Finish on a sweet note with desserts like Sweet Potato Pie ($9). Indoor and outdoor seating is available. Valet parking is $20. Reservations are required.

6. Lure Fishbar

Executive Chef John Iatrellis of Miami Beach’s seafood hotspot, Lure Fishbar, will serve a Thanksgiving tasting menu for $45 per person. The dinner begins with a butternut squash bisque served with toasted pumpkin seeds and crème, followed by a roasted pear and shallot salad topped with endive, bleu cheese, and toasted walnut vinaigrette. For the entrée, guests can enjoy roasted Carolina turkey with all of the fixings served family-style including maple roasted yams, whipped potatoes, wheat berry stuffing, and Italian sausage stuffing. Desserts include pumpkin panna cotta and tasty pecan squares. The restaurant begins serving dinner at 6pm. Valet parking is available for $16 with validation.

7. J&G Grill

J&G Grill at the St. Regis Bal Harbour has created a three-course prix fixe Thanksgiving dinner with a great list of appetizers, side dishes, entrees and desserts. Among the stand-out choices include Tea Cured Venison Carpaccio with cherry-pistachio vinaigrette, puffed wild rice and mache; Roasted Pumpkin Agnolotti with brown butter, crispy sage, dried currant and parmigiano reggiano; and Pan Roasted Alaskan Halibut with thumbelina carrots, grilled baby leeks and kale chips. Don’t forget dessert with options such as chocolate s’mores. The cost is $145 per person. Children under age 12 are $65. The dinner is available from 1:30pm to 10pm. Parking is $15 with proper validation. Metered parking available on 96th Street.

8. db Bistro Moderne

Give thanks for fabulous food at db Bistro Moderne with a three-course, prix fixe Thanksgiving dinner prepared by Chef Jason Pringle. The festive menu features options like pumpkin soup with caramelized apple and spiced crème fraîche for starters; roasted Thanksgiving Turkey with chestnut dressing, cranberry chutney brussel sprouts, whipped sweet potato and gravy as the main; and green apple mille-feuille with granny smith apple, butternut crémeux and puff pastry smoked vanilla ice cream for dessert. The restaurant will also send each guest home with a turkey sandwich to enjoy the following day! The cost is $65 for adults and $35 for children. The lounge opens at 12pm with an à la carte Thanksgiving menu, and lunch and dinner service follow from 1 to 9pm. Valet parking is available for $10 with proper validation.

9. The Restaurant at The Setai

From an elaborate brunch with all the trimmings to a contemporary dinner, The Restaurant at The Setai has all the fixings for Thanksgiving. The Thanksgiving Day themed brunch features classic dishes like Turkey and Ham, an extensive array of seafood including Alaskan King Crab Legs, and untraditional dishes such as Indonesian Beef Rendang. Later in the day, the delicious three-course dinner menu gives guests a choice of appetizer such as Pumpkin Velouté. Diners will then choose between Maine Lobster, Roasted Turkey, and Wagyu Striploin. To finish the Thanksgiving meal, pick from stand out desserts including Vanilla Chai Roasted Pear. The prix fixe menu is $95 for adults and $48 for children. Dinner is served from 7 to 10pm. Brunch has three seatings at 11:30am, 1pm and 2:30pm. Valet parking is $15 with proper validation.
