Miami Spa Month 2016 has officially arrived! During July and August, take advantage of special treatments for as low as $109 at Miami’s leading spas. Here’s a roundup of our picks, Part 1, for the more out-of-the-ordinary treatments for men and women this year. Stay tuned for Part 2.

Mimosa Facial & Citrus Scalp Massage – 60 minutes – $109
An after-sun experience to brighten up the skin, this express facial cocktail includes a cleansing, toning, mini massage and skin masque followed by an invigorating scalp therapy. Facial does not include extractions, but is designed to clean and protect the skin, with a soothing touch.
Citrus Scrub & Rub – 90 minutes – $199
A perfect citrus treatment for the summer, enjoy 30 minutes of full body skin smoothing with a basil & lemon sugar scrub, followed by a 60 minute Swedish massage.
*Spa guests may end their treatment with relaxation time in the spa lounges and amenity areas while overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.

Masaje Con Flor Blanca – 50 minutes – $109
A soothing massage using long strokes and lymphatic drainage techniques with oil extracted from the orange blossom, used for hundreds of years as a tonic to induce bliss, calm the nerves and increase blood flow.
Tierra Santa Experience -110 minutes – $199
This experience invites spa guests to begin by creating their own do-it-yourself ritual. Lather up with a choice of muds, scrubs, butters and oils available at spa reception. Enjoy full access to the Wet Spa area (which features a hammam, hydrotherapy, herbal steam room, sauna, ice parlor and tepidarium) and Wet Scrub rooms with experience showers. Then, enjoy an 80-minute deep tissue massage using warm babassu butter from the Brazilian palm tree.

Heavenly Aloe Massage – 50 Minutes – $109
This treatment uses the gel of the aloe plant to enhance the therapeutic benefits of a full body Swedish massage. Excellent for dry or skin overexposed to the sun.
*Amenities available to spa guests include an immersion mineral jet bath, energy deluge shower, the trademark Bleau rain room, an eucalyptus infusion steam bath, essence mineral co-ed pool and element’s rain tunnel. The crème de le crème of manicures begins with a bath of warm nutrient rich lotion, followed by grooming and a specialized blend of warm honey, organic sesame oil, and milk applied in a gentle massage. Then, the pedicure begins with an antioxidant-infused soak, followed by a specialized blend of warm honey, organic sesame oil, and milk applied in a gentle massage.

Targeted Deep Tissue Massage & Indian Head Massage – 60 minutes – $109
This treatment starts with a restorative deep tissue massage, which allows the release of deeply held patterns of tension while also draining the body of toxins. The techniques used during this treatment include penetrating muscle compression and cross-fibre friction to increase blood and lymph flow. The treatment is complete with a stress-relieving head, neck and shoulder massage.

50-Minute Men’s Facial, Shoulder, And Scalp Massage – 50 minutes – $109
Specifically designed for men, this relaxing facial works on a deep level to purify, balance, and hydrate the skin. Triple cleansing and steamy hot towels are used to sooth and soften the skin and facial hair. A massage of the face, shoulders, and scalp leave guests feeling relaxed and de-stressed.
*Amenities available to spa guests include Himalayan salt walls, crystal steam rooms, refreshing ice fountains, and experience showers that feature cool, arctic or warm Caribbean mists. Spa guests also enjoy the spa’s oceanfront swimming pool for lounging and dining.
