With Valentine’s Day just around the corner, restaurants, resorts and spas across Miami are planning for an extra special serving of romance. Dinner at Gianni’s at the Villa

The former mansion of the famous Italian fashion designer, Gianni Versace, now houses a new culinary addition called Gianni’s at the Villa. A truly one-of-a-kind historic setting, the restaurant will be open on Friday, February 12, and Saturday, February 13, for Valentine’s weekend. Executive Chef Thomas Stewart helms the kitchen where he delivers his fresh take on world-class Italian and Mediterranean cuisine. On the menu expect a variety of caviar ($175-$420) complemented by dishes such as seared Mediterranean dorade with zaalouk eggplant ($32), poached Maine lobster with green pea foam and spring onion gel ($36), and Wagyu filet mignon with pan-seared foie gras ($59). Ask to be seated on the outdoor patio that overlooks the 54-foot-long ”Million Mosaic Pool” lined with 24-karat gold. The valet parking station is in front of The Hotel Victor South Beach. There is also street parking and garages in the immediate area.

Afternoon Tea at The St. Regis Bal Harbour Resort

Spoil your sweetheart this Valentine’s Day with a romantic afternoon tea for two by Executive Pastry Chef Antonio Bachour at The St. Regis Bal Harbour’s Bar. Menu highlights include cranberry scones with mascarpone cheese and house made jam; a variety of tea sandwiches such as cream cheese and salmon éclairs and chicken truffle salad; and numerous desserts including heart shaped rosewater raspberry mascarpone macarons and white chocolate hibiscus petit gateaux. The tea is offered Sunday, February 14, from 12 pm to 4 pm. The cost is $59 per person. 24-hour advance reservations are required.

Dinner and Special Rose Champagne Tasting at The Supper Club at Thea’s

The Supper Club at Thea’s is now accepting reservations for dinner and a special optional rosé champagne tasting on Friday, February 12th. Their 250,000 piece venetian glass flower garden will be illuminated by candlelight, fresh flowers will adorn the tables, and Pavel Vitier’s band will play Cuban ballads from the 1920s-1950s throughout the evening. The special three course prix fixe dinner menu features starters from seared scallops with arugula and shaved fennel to buffalo mozzarella with prosciutto and asparagus. A variety of main courses include options like Seared Wild Salmon with sweet potato puree, spinach and lemon. To finish, The Supper Club brings a dessert selection to the table featuring heart shaped strawberry and crème anglaise cake. Dinner is $57.00 per person. For this night only, Thea’s is offering a special optional rosé champagne tasting to accompany dinner (because who wouldn’t prefer rosé to roses?), which includes a selection of five beautiful rosés such as Cuvée Rosé from Laurent-Perrier for $54.00 per person. Private Cabana Poolside Dinner at Turnberry Isle Miami

For couples looking to enjoy a romantic dining experience in a lush tropical setting, Turnberry Isle Miami which never disappoints is accepting private dinner reservations served in intimate poolside cabanas. The special Valentine’s Day menu for two features a bottle of champagne and five themed courses (to share) such as “The Flirting,” which includes Champagne & Imperial Caviar Pearls, and “I’ve Got My Claws in You,” which features a premium variety of fresh crab dishes including Florida Stone Crab, Alaskan King and Maryland Blue. An indulgent Chiffon Cake with Raspberry, Vanilla and Passionfruit Mousselines is served in the “Passion Forever” final course. Reservations start at 6:30 pm-8 pm.
