The first reader event of the year was sold out!!!! Here’s a photo gallery of the evening, all of the eye candy and delectable dishes at Palat.
Thanks to Emmanuelle Bernard, Founder and Creative Director of L’Appartement, and her team for the wonderful hospitality and to you all for your enthusiasm and support. We enjoyed all of the “eye candy” — stylish furniture and home decor, enticing gift items (and some serious deals), the wine that flowed, and the decadent brownie bars “Injected” with dulce de leche from Eden Bar Bakery. Besides a door prize of Paco Rabanne’s new Invictus Aqua fragrance, Emannuelle happily surprised us with another prize — an interior design consultation by her.
We then moved to what everyone agreed was a delicious dinner at Mediterranean spot Palat. We feasted on salumeria and manchego, fried shishito peppers, grilled branzino (the BEST), risotto with funghi porcini, broccolini and for dessert, olive oil cake. And of course some vino to go with it all. Rest assured we’ll be back!
Look for another reader event come this fall. And in summer, a drawing for a special prize!
