Here’s a super fun and different thing to do this month! It’s Fairchild’s Mango Festival called Mango Days of Summer with more foodie features this year! And if you want to do your mango celebration at home, there are virtual lectures and you can buy mango trees that they’ll deliver!
Home to one of the largest mango collections in the world with over 500 varieties grown on the Fairchild Farm in Homestead, it’s offering its festival all 30 days of July. Bring your blankets and picnic baskets – or grab a delicious meal at the cafe – and enjoy popular attractions including the  new Cloud Forest exhibit; tune into lectures; buy mango trees and different varieties of Miami’s prized fruit and more. Here are the highlights:

Mango Beer and More

The garden is  excited about its local business collaborations with Lincoln’s Beard Brewing Co., Sweet Melody Ice Cream and BunnieCakes, where they are offering limited edition mango beer, ice cream and cakes, all made with fresh mangos picked from the Fairchild Farm in Homestead.

Lincoln’s Beard Brewing Co.’s new Best Day Ever! premiers, a mango sour beer that’s inspired by Miami summers and tastes just like a fresh mango picked from the Fairchild Farm.  Available for purchase at Lincoln’s Beard throughout July, the Best Day Ever! (6% ABV) mango sour is an approachable and refreshing brew that goes down smoothly during MIami’s hot summer months.

Plus, visit these local shops to purchase their mango brews, cakes and ice cream, and when you do, proceeds from the sales go directly toward our mission. Bring your receipt to the Garden, and you’ll receive $5 off admission when you visit on any Mango Saturday this month.Man
