If it weren’t for a good friend who’s a fashionista and a regular denizen of Little River and all places artsy, I wouldn’t have found the shop of Fabrice Tardieu. And that would have been a big loss. Fashion conscious celebs like Will Smith, Common, P. Diddy, Cassie, Dwayne Wade, and Gabrielle Union found their way here, coming for Tardieu’s very creative, quality sneakers, slip ons and boots which he has designed and has made in Italy. Besides fashion forward models, there are also others for those who want classics with a slightly different, creative twist.
Most of all, Tardieu, who previously worked with Giorgio Armani, sees his clients as those wanting to look stylish without being flashy. And many of his models work with casual clothes as in athleisure, but also with trousers and a blazer, or a dress.
Case in point, his python slip ons. And he loves color, seeing it as an important part of the Miami lifestyle
His signature is his Graffiti collection that bear his personal life motto on the soles- “One Battle at a Time, One Day at a Time”, hoping to spark important social conversations .
Most of the shoes are unisex but then there are special models for men and women. Special editions are featured, too, made for the Gulf nation of Qatar and Mexico featuring the colors of the Mexican flag.
Handsome velvet slipons for men and women were a fave.
To complement the shoes ,he has designed statement sports jackets that are bound to elicit stares and comments.
Besides the shop, his shoes are also sold in Bal Harbour at Addict; Brickell City Center, Design District, and LIncoln Road at Lulu Laboratorium.
Online you can find a selection of models on sale at large savings.
