Kick off the start of Art Basel with at LDV Hospitality’s Rooftop at the Gale South Beach on November 28th from 7pm – 10pm. Tasting Table and the Lincoln Motor Company will host the exclusive event. Attendees will have a chance to refine their cooking and bartending skills as they learn to make a Smoked Old Fashioned – blowtorch included! – and learn how to make two different types of authentic Italian pastas with LDV Hospitality’s Executive Chef Paolo Dorigato from Dolce Italian. A live art mural will be created during the event by Miami artist Stuart Sheldon in partnership with Superfine! House of Art & Design. Tickets cost $45 plus tax and include three drink tickets, specialty appetizers and shared plates and two interactive stations. Here’s the scoop: Arts Encounters founder and director Margery Gordon.the educator and art critic has covered Art Basel MiamiBeach Arts Encounters since its arrival in 2001. She promises to “illuminate trends and interpretations through intimate group discussions with exhibitors and artists who share the inspirations and creative processes behind their installations”.
