In the Brickell Avenue area I recommend several places — Coya (there’s a buzzy, cool bar area and separate restaurant and you can talk) and Cantina la Veinte Mexican restaurant (eat downstairs, lovely and romantic). They’re kind of pricey just so you know. Zuma is also good. Another fun place is Rosa Mexicano, not on the level of the other two in ambiance or food but also more reasonably priced.
