The season of home and garden tours is in full swing with notable ones in Fort Lauderdale and Palm Beach coming up. But no need to go far afield. A leading Miami house tour, “Homes of Key Biscayne: Lifestyles in Paradise” will take place on February 8.
Shuttles will take guests to the six homes of the rich and famous with a chance to spend time in each at one’s leisure and learn about the history and architecture and see some serious art collections according to event chair, Maria del Carmen Mayoral. And the last stop will be a garden with tables set up for enjoying small bites from area restaurants. The house tour is from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and costs $35 if tickets are bought in advance and $45 at the door. Meeting point is the Key Biscayne Presbyterian Church (160 Harbor Drive), where complimentary parking will also be available.
