Snowbirds are coming back, the weather is starting to cool, and the city is gearing up for “The Season” with fun things to do in Miami this month — from a Taylor Swift concert and Ikebana workshops, to glass blowing classes,  foodie events, and a one day sanctuary and yoga meditation retreat. Ikebana is the praised Japanese art of flower arrangement, and at the University of Miami’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI), those interested in learning how to do it themselves now have a fun opportunity to do so. Led by Grand Master Mieko Kubota, the President of the Ikebana International Miami Chapter 131, this workshop is perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike.
