With holiday season just around the corner, Miami is already brimming with a calendar of events that have something for everyone. From  the annual Color Run, to a bevy of show-stopping performances, one of the first grand galas of the season,  and the first-ever plant-based food and wine festival , here are our picks of the city’s best upcoming events, things to do in Miami in November — curated just for you:

“Color Run: The Happiest 5k on the Planet”

When: November 14th at 9 AM

Where: Sun Life Stadium

The Color Run™ presented by ALCATEL ONETOUCH – one of the largest 5k events across the globe, where throughout the run, participants are “painted” by bursts of vibrant color powder coming at them from all angles – is coming to South Florida for the debut of its 2015 Shine Tour™. Bringing a fresh new spin on this 4th-annual event, this year’s edition will include an all-new “Sparkle Zone™,” where runners can take colorful photographs throughout the course. When the race is done, head to the Finish Festival: a happy place where runners can celebrate their success with music, dancing, massive color throws, new confetti cannons, shimmery clouds of color, sparkle, and much more. Sun Life Stadium is located at 347 Don Shula Drive. Registration is open for individual runners and teams.

Hosted on Vizcaya’s beautiful Gilded Age estate, gardens and courtyard, this dazzling, red-carpet evening promises an A-list celebration that’s all in the name of good faith. With cocktails, dinner, dancing, a haute silent auction and fireworks, all proceeds from the ball will benefit the Vizcaya Museum and Gardens – the 1914 home of James Deering that, today, has become a historic landmark in Miami. Promoting conservation and an appreciation of Miami’s history, Vizcaya Museum and Gardens is dedicated to sharing its history, the arts and its natural environment with people across the globe. Tickets for this event start at $750 per person, and can be purchased here. Black Tie attire. Complimentary parking onsite.
