Enjoy a coastal Mediterranean brunch at Boulud Sud Miami.
Celebrate Mom this Mother’s Day at Daniel Boulud’s newest Miami spot. Here, Executive Chef Clark Bowen will prepare a $65 three-course prix fixe menu that includes the restaurant’s signature Octopus a la Plancha and Chicken Tagine, plus Mother’s Day-only brunch dishes like Grilled Steak & Egg, Lobster Omelette and Pastry Chef Saeko Nemoto’s Pistachio French Toast.Instead of the same old mimosas and Bloody Marys, guests can get bottomless “mix & match” brunch cocktails like the L’orange made with citrus vodka, or the Straggisto, a delicate mix of Greek yogurt and rum. Boulud Sud Miami is located at 255 Biscayne Boulevard Way. The three-course menu is priced at $65 per person, and the bottomless drink package is priced at $35 per person. Hotel valet parking is available.
Party in the South of France at Bagatelle.
At this fabulous fête, do what the French do: drink rosé! To give Mom the recognition she deserves, Bagatelle will host a glamorous brunch with glasses of pink bubbly straight from Provence, flashing lights, champagne bottles that sparkle (literally), salsa dancers, pumped-up music, and of course, a French feast. On the menu, expect special plates like “Bloody Mary” Panzanella drizzled in a refreshing citrus vodka vinaigrette, fresh Royal Caviar, Chantilly Crumb Cake, and a toasted croissant stuffed with lobster. It’s a party for fun moms only! Bagatelle is located at 220 21st Street. Dishes are priced a la carte. Valet is available, and street parking and parking garages are nearby.
Spend the afternoon at Faena Miami Beach.
Start with a special edition of Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann’s famous Sunday Asado Brunch, an Argentine custom and BBQ where an asador (the chef!) prepares a multi-course feast over a wood-fired grill. This relaxing meal is primarily made up of meat and vegetables, and it’s all paired with bottomless Bellinis and mimosas. As a gift for the women of honor, all moms who spend Mother’s Day at Los Fuegos by Francis Mallmann will receive a $25 gift certificate towards any yoga class at Tierra Santa Healing House, the Faena Miami Beach’s own luxury spa. Make your reservation for brunch anytime between Noon and 3 p.m., and after that, head to Tierra Santa Studio for a one-hour, guided meditation by Tierra Santa Spa Director Agustina Caminos. Faena Miami Beach is located at 3201 Collins Avenue. Brunch priced at $115 per adult and $45 per child age 5 – 12. The guided meditation is free and open to the public.
