After having been “spicing it up” since early August, I’ve come up with some tips, lessons learned about getting the most for your money with Miami Spice (and kudos to the originators of the highly imitated program).
Also shared are red lights on where charges can greatly add to the bill, in some cases, more than doubling the price of the lunch or dinner.
· Maybe it’s obvious but do check the menu before reserving. Some restaurants showcase their best but others, as mentioned before, just do it, so you’re not getting the best experience.
· If you want the best service and most relaxing time, go for lunch. It also costs less.
· Ordering wine? See if there are Miami Spice wine by the glass specials as some restaurants do offer them. This can make a difference between a $6 to $9 glass of wine and $12 and up.
· If you’re watching your budget, ask if parking is included. In some restaurants they waive the charge and in others, reduce the fee, but it can still be $12 or more.
Whatever, do take advantage of the promotion in these last two weeks. The website is www.ilovemiamispice.com <http://www.ilovemiamispice.com> , I do, and you will too.
