Picks for Lunch in Fort Lauderdale

By Kayla Louttit

On the hunt for a new place for lunch in Fort Lauderdale? From seafood and authentic Italian to deli, Vegan and waterfront dining, here are six choice picks at different price points:

Coconut’s

429 Seabreeze Blvd, Fort Lauderdale, FL 33316, (954) 525-2421

Located dockside on the Intracoastal and just steps from the beach, Coconut’s is a great choice for a casual lunch on a sunny-day afternoon. The local-favorite restaurant features an inventive menu that is primarily composed of fresh seafood and comfort food dishes such as coconut shrimp ($13), smoked fish dip ($12), fish tacos ($15) and a crab cake salad ($16). Coconut’s is owned and operated by thriving restaurateur Elliot Wolf and his restaurant group, be nice, which also operates popular Fort Lauderdale’s restaurants like Foxy Brown, G&B Oyster Bar and Top Hat Delicatessen (which also makes our list, below).
