We who are here in September can use a super fun special event in Miami – as in one with a dinner prepared by a chef who was a James Beard Foundation semifinalist; an acclaimed ceramicist with a unique piece of his work for diners; and music with a “hot” R&B singer. It’s happening – in two days, on September 10, and there are still some places.
Here’s the scoop: On Wednesday 50 guests will experience a one of a kind dining collaboration with The District Miami’s Executive Chef/James Beard Foundation semifinalist Horacio Rivadero and renowned Ceramicist Carlos Alberto Rodriguez. The event is part of Copper Fest, the weeklong Cultural Evolution series that will be held in venues throughout the Wynwood Arts District and the Miami Design District as they celebrate Cuban artists who will be traveling the Copperbridge to the US to showcase the inspirations of their artwork.
The $200 per person dinner which includes a VIP Copper Fest Pass, will be served on 50 unique art plates created especially for Copperbridge Foundation by ceramicist Artist Rodriguez. The art plates can be chosen beforehand by participating guests and will be available to take home after the dinner. Optional $100 dinners will also be available without an art plate. A portion of the proceeds will be tax-deductible and go towards the Copperbridge Foundation programs. The dishes and menu can be previewed and purchased here: http://copperbridge.org/dinner/
The night will also be accompanied with a special performance by R&B singer Joanna Gardner. Join me!
