A themed day to evening, ROCK the CASBAH at IMPERIOjp, 7500 N.E. 4th Court, will combine a love of travel, unique fashion finds from all over the world, exotic Middle Eastern nibbles, music and dance; cocktails; and more on September 30 starting at 1 p.m. Join me and other readers and friends of owners Jessica (ex investment banker) and Gabriella at this Silk Road party (I’ll be there from 5 to 9 p.m.) and what promises to be an interesting group of people as well.
These finds were chosen by owners who have traveled the world, and worked with artisans on special collections that have been featured by everyone from Bergdorf Goodman and Barney’s to Takashamiya (didn’t you love that store!). Plus, a percentage of what you buy will go to your choice of Doctors without Borders benefiting programs to help Syrian refugees and Casa Valentina. The shop is in the up and coming new area of Ironside (interesting to see what’s happening there).
The Party celebrates the treasures of the World, from Beirut to Bangkok, Brazil and Morocco, Burma to Buenos Aires, Bogota and Baghdad, Paris to Peru, and beyond.
