Move over Bal Harbour. There’s a new kid in town for men’s high-end Italian clothing, and this kid will knock your cashmere socks off.
Of course, there are great men’s luxury clothing stores in Miami, but most of them just sell one brand.
The difference here is that Sartorial, which opened recently in the Design District, features 25.
And each one is carefully selected through relationships the owners have with the Italian brands, and each one is more exclusive and high-quality than the next. The clothes are also carefully curated to reflect a certain European sensibility that is hard to find in U.S. stores, even at many outposts of European brands.
Many of the brands are well-known to the jetset type (e.g. Kiton, Malo, Borrelli, Borsalino), but many are less well-known here, but also of super high-quality (e.g. Barrett crocodile or ostrich shoes, Jacob Cohen handmade jeans, etc.)
The store’s selection seems to have more of a Southern Italian flavor, which makes sense, since the store’s owners came out of the fashion industry in Southern Italy.
The Miami store is Sartorial’s first and only in the United States, although they did say they are working on some new concepts for other stores.
Prices are pure jetset:
Shirts start at $350
Pants start at $400
Shoes start at $500
Suits start at $2,500
They also will make made-to-measure suits and jackets from Kiton, Castangia and Pal Zileri, starting at $1,800 for a jacket and $3,500 for a suit.
They will be adding made-to-measure shirts soon.
The good news is that some of their winter collection (outerwear and knitwear) goes on sale after New Year’s Day (30% off!).
So if you’re looking for any religious experiences this holiday season, you will find one at this high temple of fashion.
