Jezebel Bar + Kitchen

Jezebel Bar + Kitchen

Sitting on the corner of Lincoln Road and Michigan Avenue, Jezebel Bar + Kitchen is one of Miami Beach’s hottest new cocktail lounges and bars. Brought to us by Liquid Hospitality’s Chris Paciello and Mio Danilovic, this A-list hotspot has a distinct “speakeasy” feel—outside, it’s surrounded by Miguel Paredes-created street art, while inside, you’ll find guests drinking tableside-shaken cocktails under dim lighting. Walk inside, plop into a vintage leather couch, and make your night out on Miami Beach one to remember. An upscale bar menu coupled with the cocktails makes that easy to do; think mini lobster tacos, truffle popcorn, and desserts called “flaming s’mores.” Jezebel Bar + Kitchen is located at 1625 Michigan Avenue. It is open daily, from 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. Area street parking and public parking is available.

Komodo

Komodo

The brainchild of nightlife guru Dave Grutman, the man behind LIV and STORY, Komodo is an over-the-top, three-story restaurant and lounge in the heart of Brickell Avenue. With its sexy Asian vibes, this haute South Florida spot serves up southeast Asian fare—like Peking duck, tuna and toro rolls, lobster dynamite, and Kurobuta pork—in a playful “treehouse” atmosphere. Perfect for any weekend night, Komodo has three bars, outdoor floating “birds nest” seating, a lounge adorned in eye-popping art, top DJs spinning the latest hits, and of course, Grutman’s celebrity friends. Grab a bird’s nest and order a handcrafted cocktail or three; The Secret Garden with Havana Club rum, guava purée, strawberry, Yuzu sake, and Coco Lopez catches our eye. Komodo is more than a bar and restaurant. It’s a sensory experience. Komodo is located at 801 Brickell Avenue. The restaurant is open Monday through Thursday, from Noon to 11 p.m.; Fridays, from Noon to Midnight; Saturdays, from 6 p.m. to Midnight; and Sundays, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. The lounge opens nightly at 10 p.m. Area street parking and public parking is available.

Doheny Room

Doheny Room

The Delano South Beach is already an icon; so a swanky hideaway tucked inside it would obviously be one, too. Enter: Doheny Room. With its high ceilings and celebrity fans (hello,  Leonardo DiCaprio, Venus Williams, and Scott Eastwood!) this low key, see-and-be-seen spot fuses golden-era vibes with cocktails for the stars. Doheny Room is located at 1685 Collins Avenue. It is open Fridays and Saturdays, from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. Hotel valet parking is available.

Rockwell

Rockwell

Even though it’s only been on the scene for less than two years, Rockwell has already become a major factor in the Miami nightlife scene. Another hangout from the team at Liquid Hospitality, here, the VIP experience is simply unparalleled. With its fan base ranging from Rick Ross and P Diddy, to Khloe Kardashian, Dwayne Wade, Kate Hudson, and DJ Khaled, at Rockwell, everyone is a rockstar. It only holds 500 people, it’s a magnet for beautiful people watching, it fuses hip Los Angeles vibes with the music of NYC, and it is the epitome of glamorous Miami. When there, get bottle service! You won’t be the only one. Rockwell is located at 743 Washington Avenue. It is open Mondays, Fridays, and Saturdays, from 11:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. Area street parking and public parking is available.

Whisper Lounge

Whisper Cocktail Lounge

Taking up the roof of the W Miami, formerly known as The Viceroy, this sexy lounge, pool, and nightclub has long been known as Fifty Ultra Lounge. When the W Hotel franchise took over the property, it was given a whole new chic, all-white makeover and name: Whisper Cocktail Lounge. Go here for beautiful people watching, stiff drinks, St. Tropez-like surroundings, and some of the best and highest views of the Magic City. Whisper Cocktail Lounge is located at 485 Brickell Avenue. It is open Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.; and Fridays and Saturdays, from 6 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Hotel valet parking is available.

Sweet Liberty

Sweet Liberty Drinks & Supply Co.
The brainchild of award-winning bartender and owner John Lermayer, Sweet Liberty has so many accolades, it’s hard to keep track. Go for the expert cocktails—like the “She Said Yes” with Hendricks Gin, Fino Sherry, lemon, raspberry, cucumber, and fresh sliced cucumber, anyone?—and stay for the creative American menu, $0.75 oysters during happy hour, and $5 rosé on tap. And with all its praise, celebrities like it just as much as the Miami locals; Dwyane Wade, Gabrielle Union, and Aaron Paul are all huge fans. Sweet Liberty Drinks & Supply Co. is located at 237-B 20th Street. It is open Monday through Saturday, from 4 p.m. to 5 a.m.; and on Sundays, from Noon to 5 a.m. Area street parking and public parking is available.

Baoli Miami
If you want a full night on the town, one that starts with a fabulous dinner and ends with even more fabulous people, a sexy night out, and South Beach chic-meets-European vibes, you can find it all at Baoli Miami. A taste of its sister property in Cannes, this restaurant and lounge is a Mediterranean hotspot right here in the United States. Surprisingly, from the outside, its low-rise Collins Avenue building looks entirely unassuming. Walk inside, however, and you’ll instantly be transported to another world. With its hidden garden patio, sexy dancers, DJ booths, scantily-clad women doing tricks while suspended from the ceiling, and a long wraparound bar that doubles as a dance floor, it’s a world you’ll want to stay out all night to experience. Baoli Miami is located at 1906 Collins Avenue. It’s open on Tuesdays, from 7 p.m. to Midnight; and from Wednesday to Saturday, from 7 p.m. to 4 a.m. Valet, public, or street parking is available.
