New Massage-on-Demand Service

soothe-0769607When you need a massage you usually need it right away, preferably at home or possibly in the office. So it was welcome news to hear about Soothe, a new massage-on-demand service for appointments with as little as 60 minutes advance notice or for an advanced booking. Even guests at hotels can use this service. I tried it out and the experience from booking through delivery of the service was flawless.

The booking process was very user friendly. I connected online with my computer though you can use a mobile app as well. Whichever you choose, you’re connected   to a network of over 50 skilled, licensed and insured Soothe massage therapists available to travel immediately to any area of Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, and Palm Beach. There’s  a choice of Swedish, deep tissue, sports or couples massages in 60-, 90- and 120-minute sessions, where appointments are offered between the hours of 10 am until 10 pm every day of the week, with fixed prices of $99 (60 minute), $139 (90 minute), and $169 (120 minute) per person, regardless of the type of massage selected. Prices include tax and gratuity.

First off, you select  what type of massage you want and the treatment length,  the gender of the massage therapist, then enter the address of service and any notes about parking issues to facilitate the therapist’s ability to access the destination. Last, the credit card is entered  for billing. Soothe then sends a confirmation to the customer’s email. Booking via soothe.com is available 24-7, or call a toll-free number (800.960.7668) during business hours.

My masseur, Guillermo, arrived ten minutes early and set up. He brought the covering for the massage table and offered a choice of lotion or coconut oil. Throughout the massage he checked to see if the level of pressure was comfortable and it was perfect for my taste. He was pleasant, professional, and took a cue from me as to whether I wanted to chat.

Soothe is currently available in the Los Angeles and Miami areas and soon in Phoenix-Scottsdale, San Francisco Bay Area and New York City.

I’m hooked!
